Description
This site has three isolated rocks that were relocated due to clearing and ground movements.
Initially, Finch's research (1983) recorded the existence of at least ten engraved rocks in the area. It is possible that two of these stones correspond to those present at the Tenorio site; however, since the author (Finch) did not take photographs or drawings of them, it is difficult to know if they correspond to those recorded, except for one that coincides with the geographic coordinates provided.
The first rock has a face engraved to the west with a motif composed of vertical lines intersected by three curved perpendicular lines. It also has four domes.
The second rock has a motif of two superimposed figures, one in the form of an elongated animal whose extremity ends in a spiral, and a body elaborated with concentric half circles that form spots reminiscent of snakeskin. It is possible that the superimposition of these designs was due to their elaboration at different times.
The last rock has a different iconography than the other two. It is more similar to that of the nearby site, Piedra del Indio. It has three engraved panels with simple faces, grouped and with a certain extension that could be interpreted as the ears of a possible zoomorphic representation or as a headdress. However, since the design is diffuse, it is difficult to specify. Along with these, there are other anthropomorphic motifs and depressions in the upper part.
