In sum, the project recorded 277 rocks and seven rock shelters. The exhibition highlights the Pedregal site, the Las Tinajas shelter, the La Española gorge, the Altamira Lagoon savanna, the Santa Fe wall, the Farallón of Sandillal, the Piedra del Indio, and Dos Rocas (Two Rocks).

En la mayor parte se encuentran petrograbados, pero en la pared rocosa Las Tinajas y en las rocas Mico Pintado, los motivos fueron realizados con pintura o se combinó la pintura con el grabado. En estos sitios se han identificado diversas técnicas y recursos para realizarlos.

Sus motivos son también muy diversos, desde figuras humanas, de animales, plantas, mezcla de animales y humanos, motivos no figurativos y oquedades artificiales.

The use of these sites is varied; they were used for ceremonies, pilgrimages, or cultural events. Many of the engraved rocks played an important role in performing rituals, providing directions, or warning of the proximity of important population centers.
