Description
There are two rocks at this location, both at the base of a clearing close to the river, in a spot where a rocky wall opens up like a big amphitheater with a wall.
One of these boulders has been rotated (for unknown reasons), and several engravings are covered on its underside, making it difficult to determine the totality of its depictions.
The first rock features a collection of carvings on a smooth surface with themes of undulating lines and a small grid. Some of the motifs have quite deep grooves, allowing them to be seen from a moderate distance.
Despite the proximity between the two rocks, the second one has a different iconography. In its lower portion, a cross pattern with two perforations can be observed; on the reverse, which is fairly worn, a composition with intricate circular motifs can still be seen. This iconography shares several motifs with the El Farallón site. However, other themes with deep grooves have geometric designs.
As water levels rise due to rainfall, the rocks become covered, causing wear and tear and nearby vegetation to damage them.
